AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating
into the corporate limits of the City of
Bremerton certain lands lying outside the
limits of the City of Bremerton and being
contiguous to the City of Bremerton.
WHEREAS, written notification of their intention to commence
annexation proceedings was received by the City Council on July 23, 1975, from
the owners of not less than ten percent (10%) in value according to the assessed
valuation for general taxation purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on the 7th day after receipt of
notification, did meet with the initiating parties and did at this meeting on
July 30, 1975, determine that the City would accept the proposed annexation,
wodld~t require the assumption of any proportional existing City debts and
would ac~ept the area into the City with Bremerton's Residential-One zoning
use classification, as set out in the City Council minutes of July 30, 1975, and
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation signed by the owners of more
than seventy-five percent (75%) in value, according to the assessed valuation
for general taxation of the property for which annexation is petitioned, was
filed with the City on August 13, 1975, and
WHEREAS, the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board did on October 16,
1975, vote not to invoke jurisdiction and on October 21, 1975, more than sixty (60)
days had elapsed without the Board's jurisdiction having been invoked, whereby
the proposed annexation was deemed approved by the Boundary Review Board, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that notice of the hearing
of the petition be given and, thereafter a public hearing was held on November 5,
1975, and following such public hearing the City Council determined to annex said
described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Bremerton does ordain:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land be and the
same hereby is annexed and incorporated within and becomes a part of the City of
Bremerton, to-wit:
The North half, except the East half of the Northwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter, Section 2, Township 24 North, Range 1 East,
WillametteMeridian, in Kitsap County, Washington.
Section 2. That the property herein described be and it is hereby
annexed to the City of Bremerton with Bremerton Residential-One zoning use classification.

Section 3. The effective date of annexation shall be the same as the
effective date of this ordinance.
