into the corporate limits of the City of
Bremerton certain lands lying outside the
limits of the City of Bremerton and being.
contiguous to the City of Bremerton.
WHEREAS, written notification of their intention to
commence annexation proceedings was received by the City Council
on August 27, 1975, from the owners of not less than ten percent
(10%) in value according to the assessed valuation for general
taxation purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on the 7th ~ay after receipt
of notification, did meet with the initiating parties and did
at this meeting on September 3, 1975, determine that the City
would accept the proposed annexation, and would require the
assumption of any proportional existing City debts, as set out in
the City Council minutes of September 3, 1975, and
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation signed by the own!~rs
of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) in value, according to
the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for which
annexation is petitioned, was filed with the City on October 29,
1975, and
WHEREAS, the Kitsap County Boundary Review Board did on
September 18, 1975, vote not to invoke jurisdiction and on October 26,
1975, more than sixty (60) days had elapsed without the Board's
jurisdiction having been invoked, whereby the proposed annexation
was deemed approved by the Boundary Review Board, and
W~EREAS, the City Council has directed that notice of
the i~aring of the petition be given and, thereafter a public hearing
was ~e~ on October 29~ 1975, and following such public hearing
the City Council determined to annex said described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Bremerton does ordain~
Section 1. That the following described tract of land
be and the same hereby is annexed and incorporated within and
becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:

That portion of Gov. Lots 1 & 2, Sec. 11, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East, W.M., Kitsap County, Washington, desc. as follows:
Beginning at the MW Cor of said Gov Lot 1; thence S 88°O6'00"E
along the north margin thereof 1328.35 feet to the NE Cor
of said Gov Lot 1; thence S l°09'50'' W along the East margin of
said Gov Lot 1, 1515.92 feet; thence S 88o0_6'00'' E 136.60 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence N 88006' W 463.90' to
a point; thence N l°09'50'' E 45.35' to a point;
thence S 60_057'30'' W 308.99' to Govt. Meanderline;
thence S 38~°43' E+along Govt. Meanderline 389.96 ft. to an. anEle./0t.;
~hence S 41°13' E~ 221 ft. to the SE line of Sheridan Rd.;
thence NE along the SE line of Sheridan Rd. to its intersection
with a line 206' E of and parallel to the E line of Govt. Lot 1;
thence N along a straight line to a point 206.0 feet E of and
120 feet N of the NW Cor of said Gov Lot 2; thence W along a
straight line to a point 120 ft. N of and 136.6 ft E of the
NW corner of said Gov Lot 2; thence S along a line parallel to
and 136.6 ft. E of the E line said Lot 1 to the TPOB.
Section 2. That the said described area is hereby required to assume
any proportional existing City debts.
Section 3. That the property herein described be and it is hereby annexed
to the City of Bremerton with Bremerton Residential-One zoning use classification.
Section 4. The effective date of annexation shall be the same as the
effective date of this ordinance~
APPROVED by the City Council on first reading this ~/~ day of
