Ordinance No. 3012 relating to ambulance
regulations by striking Subparagraphs
B(2) and (3) and adding Subsection C.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Subsections B(2) and (3) of Section 8
of Ordinance 3012 are hereby striken.
Section 2. A new Subsection C of Section 8 of
Ordinance No. 3012 is hereby added to read as follows:
"(C) Medical Attendants - Drivers: An applicant who
will at any time drive an ambulance must possess a valid Washington
State driver's license issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles;
provided that the City may consider the driving record as
verified by the Department of Motor Vehicles in determining
whether a certificate shall be issued or refused for a driver
attendant; proVided further that an applicant who will at any time
drive an ambulance must be eighteen years or older at the time
of application. An applicant who does not meet the requirements
of this section may not drive an ambulance."
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading
