AN ORDINANCE amending sub-section (a) of Section
2 of Ordinance No. 3187 as amended by Ordinance
No. 3197 providing for the rate of tax to be levied
on Bingo receipts.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
SECTION 1. Sub-section (a) of Section 2 of Ordinance
No. 3187 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) Bingo, in the amount of the gross receipts there-
from, less the amount of money paid in cash and paid for merchandise,
actually awarded as prizes during the year, multiplied by the rate
of five percent (5%) for the first $10,000.00 of such receipts
received during the year and ten percent (10%) of any receipts
over $10,000.00.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this
