AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2458 as
amended by Ordinance No. 3230 to revise the
fee for redemption of impounded dogs.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 6, Ordinance 2458 is amended to read
as follows:
'~Section 6. Redemption of Dog. The owner of any dog
impounded under this Ordinance may redeem it within forty-eight
hours of impounding on payment of the following fees together with
any unpaid license fee for said dog:
Kennel Fee: $2.00 per day
Impound Fee:
First violation .................. $10.00
Second violation- within anytwelvemonthperiod .... 20.00
Third violation -withinanytwelvemonthperiod .... 30.00
Fourth and subsequent violations .......... 40.00
If such dog is not redeemed by the owner within forty-eight hours,
then any person may redeem it within the next forty-eight hours by
complying with the above provisions. In case such dog is not re-
deemed at the end of such time, it may be humanely destroyed or
otherwise disposed of within the discretion of the impounding
authority ......
