AN ORDINANCE vacating right of way on that
portion of land southerly of and parallel to
the centerline of Kitsap Way as described
in the plans for reconstruction of PSH21, approval
dated January 27, 1942, between Engineer's Station
181+00 and 182+50 abutting Lot 3, Block 2, Brent-
wook Park in the City of Bremerton. (DORNALD SHAW)
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been previously filed
with the City Council a petition requesting vacation of right of way
of that portion of land 150' long and 25' wide along Lot 3, Block 2,
Brentwood Park in the City of Bremerton, more particularly described
below; that a hearing was had on said petition on the 1st day of
September, 1976, after notice had been posted and given in the
manner proVided by law; that at said hearing the City Council of
the Bremerton approved said petition.
Section 2. That the land described as:
That portion of land southerly of and !.~arallel
to the centerline of Kitsap Way as described
· in the plans for reconstruction of PSH21, approval
:~ dated January 27, 1942, between Engineer's Station
181+00 and 182+50 abutting Lot 3, Block 2,
Brentwood Park in the City of Bremerton,
be and hereby is declared vacated, provided that easements for
public .utilities, including sewer and water lines telephone and power
cables now on or under the surface of the area vacated, are hereby
retained by the City of Bremerton and the right to grant easements
in respect to the areas hereby vacated for the construCtion, repair
and maintenance of public utilities and services is also retained by
the City of Bremerton.
