AN ORDINANCE amending Section 4 of
Ordinance No. 2678 creating Planning
Commission.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2678
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 4. Commission Orqanization~ Meetings
and Records. The Commission shall elect a Chairman and Vice-
Chairman from among its non-ex-officio members who shall hold
office for one year. The Commission shall hold a regular
meeting on the ~ Tuesday of e~ch month at ~%t3Q~tl~__, and shall
hold such special meetings as are deemed necessary by its Chair-
man, by a majority of its members, or by the City Council.
Notice of such special meetings shall be given personally or by
mail to each member, and to each local radio or television station
and local newspaper of general circulation which has on file with
the Commission a written request to be notified of such special
meetings. Such notices shall be delivered personally or by mail
at least twenty four hours before the time of such meeting. If
a regularly scheduled meeting fa~ls on a holiday, the meeting
shall be held on the next prior business day. The Commission
shall adopt rules for the transaction of business and shall keep
a written record of its meetings, resolutions, transactions,
findings, and determinations, which shall be a public record.
A secretary shall be provided bY the Planning Department to
prepare minutes and keep such record, and perform such duties
as prescribed by the Planning Director.
