AN ORDINANCE adding a new Section 308.1 to
Ordinance No. 1792 to require approval of the
City Commission prior to issuance of a special
use permit for cemeteries and associated uses.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. That a new Section shall be added to Ordi-
nance~No. 1792 to read as follows:~
Section 308.1 - Cemeteries. Cemeteries and Associated
Uses (Either public or private) may be allowed by Special Permit.
Such permit shall be approved first by the Planning Commission after
public hearing (and examination of the location) and upon due proof
to the satisfaction of the Commission that such cemetery will not
be unduly detrimental to adjacent and surrounding property; and
subsequently approved and issued by the City Council after public
hearing.
APPROVED by the City Council on the /Er reading this
day of OdTO~ , 1977.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
