ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ ~O
AN ORDINANCE amending Section ~ and Section
~ of Ordinance No. 3178 relating to the estab-
lishment of an Equipment Rental Fund, prescribing
the use of said fund, the purchase, repair, main-
tenance and operation of City owned equipment.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN.
SECTION 1. Section 4 of Ordinance "No. ~178 is hereby
amended to read:
EQUIPMENT INCLUDED: All trucks, passenger cars
and construction equipment owned by the Fund
shall be in an equipment pool operated by the ~ ~'
Commissioner of Public Works and Utilities with- ·
in said Fund.
SECTION 2. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 3178 is hereby.
amended to read:
EQUIPS~ENT USE CHARGES: Departments using pool
equipment shall pay into the Equipment Rental
Operating Account, monthly for each item an
amount equal to the actual cost of the Fund of
servicing and maintaining such items including
salaries, wages, materials and supplies. In
addition, departments shall pay into the Equip-
ment Rental Reserve Account monthly, a charge
for replacement for each item based on the esti-
mated useful life of the particular item. The
monthly "Rates for equipment use" will be estab-
lished by City Council Resolution on an annual
basis upon approval of the budget.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this
