AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 300 and 328 of
Ordinance 1792 as amended by Ordinance 3210.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. That Section 300, Title II, Chapter II of
Ordinance 1792, as amended by Section 3, Ordinance 3210, be amended
to read:
300. In Residential One Districts, no
"Section
building or premises shall be used, and no building shall
be hereafter erected or structurally altered, unless
otherwise provided in this ordinance, except for one or
more of the following uses:
1. One and two family dwellings.
2. Libraries and art galleries.
3. Parks and playgrounds (including park buildings).
4. Accessory buildings, such as are ordinarily ap-
purtenant to single family dwellings, shall be
permitted, including one private garage to each
family, when located not less than sixty (60)
feet from the front line, nor less than twenty
'(20) feet from any flanking street line, unless
attached to or within the dwellings, or connec-
ted by an open breezeway, or as provided in Sec-

tions 311 and 312."
SECTION 2. That section 328, Title II, Chapter II of
Ordinance 1792, as amended by Section 4, Ordinance 3210, be amended
to read:
"Section 328. Site Area. Every building hereafter
erected or structurally altered which is located in a Residen-
tial One District, shall Drovide a lot area of not leSs than
forty-eight hundred (4800) square feet with a minimum width
of fifty (50) feet for a single-family dwelling and an

additional one thousand (1000) square feet of land area for
each additional family or housekeeping unit. Sixty-five (65%)
per cent of the area of all sites must be left in open spaces
free of structures. Provided, however, that where a lot has
less area than herein required, as shown by the last convey-
ance of record prior to November 24, 1942, or as shown in a
bona fide unrecorded deed or real estate contract entered into
in good faith prior to November 24, 1942, as determined by
the Commission, this regulation shall not prohibit one (1)
single family dwelling and its accessory buildings on such lot."
