AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 1792,
Section 1104 relating to the procedure
for withdrawing petitions from the con-
sideration of the Planning Commission.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. Ordinance 1792, Section 1104 is amended to
read:
The Planning Commission shall hear only one such peti-
tion governing a building or parcel of property in any given period
of 365 days, which period shall commence as of the date the peti-
tion was filed with the City. Provided that said petition may be
withdrawn at least 72 hours before the time the matter is set for
hearing before the Planning Commission. Such timely withdrawal
Shall not prejudice resubmission of the petition or any modifica-
tion thereof to the Planning Commission with respect to the tinge
of such resubmission.
If the petition is withdrawn either at a time which is
less than 72 hours before the Planning Commission hearing on the
petition, or at any time subsequent to the Planning Commission
hearing, a subsequent petition governing the same building or
parcel of property cannot be heard by the planning commission for
at least 365 days from the date the original petition was filed
with the city.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this
