Section 7 as amended by Ordinance 2950
Section 1, codified as BMC 10.08.070
relating to the issuance of parking
violation citations and the payment
of the penalty for such violation.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Ordinance 2848, Section 7, as amended by Ordinance
2950, Section 1, codified as BMC 10.08.070 is amended to read:
It shall be the duty of each police officer to take
the number of any meter at which any vehicle is over parked, as
provided in this ordinance, the state vehicle license of such vehicle,
the time and date of such overparking, the make of such vehicle, and
issue, in writing, a citation for illegal parking.
Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a citation
has been issued may within seven days of the time of the issuance of
said citation, pay to the City Treasurer~ " .'.' ~ as a penalty
for and in full satisfaction of such violation the sum of five ($5.00)
dollars. The failure of such owner or operator to make such payment
within seven days shall render such owner or operator subject to
the penalties hereinafter provided for the violation of the provisions
of this chapter PROVIDED that the owner or operator receiving an
overtime parking citation may satisfy said. violation by paying the
sum of two ($2.00) dollars to the '~City Treasurer ~ within
twenty four (24) hours after the citation is issued.

of such passage this day of March, 1977.
