AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of
Ordinance No.. 3469 levying municipal
taxes against all the taxable property
within the city limits of Bremerton
for the year 1978 and approving the
assessment roll made by the Assessor
of Kitsap County, therefore, to be
collected in the year 1979, and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section I of Ordinance No. 3469 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. That a tax on the total valuation of the taxable
property of the City of Bremerton assessed at the rate of $2.873q per
one thousand dollars of assessed value, to generate estimated tax revenue
of $1,255,700.00 be, and the same is hereby levied against the taxable
property located within the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton,
for municipal purposes, for the year 1978, to be collected in the year
1979, and the same to be carried on the tax rolls and collected by the
Treasurer of Kitsap County. This levy represents the City of Bremerton
maximum taxing levy authorized.
