ORDINANCE NO.~ ~
AN ORDINANCE establishing a credit "~ '~ r~ %~6%
for users of the Automatic Cash
Transfer System for payment of water
bills.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has put into
operation an Automatic Cash Transfer System for the payment
of water bills, and
WHEREAS, this system has resulted in lowering
the administrative costs to the City of Bremerton for
processing and collecting water bills, and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton wants to
encourage use of the system in order to achieve cost
savings to the users of the water system and to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Bremerton does
ordain:
SECTION 1. That all customers who utilize
the Automatic Cash Transfer System will be allowed a
twenty-five (25¢) cent credit on each water bill.
SECTION 2. Such credit will commence with
the next water bill following signing up for the Automatic
Cash Transfer System.
