(1948) and codified as Article 2~0 .260 in the
Bremerton City Code by including paid leave for
subpoened witnesses and providing for the de-
duction of witness fees fron gross pay
THE CITY OF B~N DOES ORDAIN:
That Ordinance 2366, Section 1 (1959), formerly Ordinance 1813,
Section 21-a (1948), codified as Article 2.40.260 in the Br~merton City Code,
is. by and herein amended to ~ead as follows:
2.40.260
(1) A ~e~u~a~ly employe~ full time employee of the Cit~
be 8~anted leave of absence with pay if (a) called for ju~y duty or (b) sub-
poened as a wit~ess or (c) for a poriod of t~in~ ~ot to exceed fifteen
ca~enda~ days in a~y United States Govez~m~nt fiSCa& yea~ as a membe~ of the
oz~anized militaz~¢ or ~ava& ~ese~ves of the United States or of the State
Washi~on. Any ~3mpensation de~ived ~om (a) and/or (b) above sha~ be
deducted ~om the 8~oss pay of the employee for that?~ e~iod. Such milita~
leave, (c) above, shall be in addition to a~¥ vacation or sick leave to
the employee might otherwise be entitled, and she&l not involve any loss
efficiency ratin~, ~rivi~eges~ or pay a~ du~ir~ the period of ~L~litaz~¢ leave,
