AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance
3147, Section 3 (R)(2) and (3)
· concerning charges for turning
off and turning on water services
at premises with delinquent water
service bills.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
Section 1. When a water bill shall become
delinquent and the water department sends an employee
to a premises during normal working hours for thh pur-
pose of turning off the water, a .charge.of 'ten .dollars:
($10.00) shall be added to the water bill for the premises.
Section 2. If as a result of a turn-off for
such delinquency, the customer requests a turn-on outside
of normal working hours or on holidays or weekends, the
customer shall acknowledge by his signature on a form
provided by the serviceman that an additional t~nty dollars
($20.00) will be added to the water bill for this service.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first read-
ing this .~-~ day of May, 1978.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~O7~ day of
May, 1978.
