the City of Bremerton: determing the charges there-
fore; and amending section ~.of
THE CITY OF BREMERTO~ DOF.~ORDAIN: ~
Section 1. That section 2 of ordinance number 2459 is here-
by amended to read as follows:
Section 2. That the schedule of charges to be :nade by the
contractor to the residents of the City of Bremerton and the users
of the contractor's service are as follows:
Unit 20' & under 2.0/35 ft. 35/60 ft. over 60 ft.

Customers shall be classified in one of the above categories on -the
basis 'of average weekly collection. All premises occupied during'
all or any part of a given month shall be charged a minimu~n $1.42~
for garbage service, whether any collections were actually made or
not, subject to the occupant proving that there was no garbage or
refuse of any kind created or accumulated which the garbage collector
could have collected.
In the West Park Housing area the charge shall be $1.55
per occupied unit month. This charge is for one can per week.
%~here collections are made mor. e often than once a week,
but the number of cans is less than twenty-five (25) per month, the
charges shall be in accordance with the rates set out above.
Where it is permissible to collect rubbish for pick up in
other than garbage cans, it shall be charged for as if it had been
placed in such cans of regular size.
Where a requested collection is of such an unusual size or
at some time other than regular collections are made at the premises,
a special charge based on the extra expenditure of labor and e~uip-
ment shall be set by the garbage collector and~ as established ~3y the
proper department of the State of Washington.
