Sect±on 1. ~ereas, a petZtZon signed by ~e owners of
more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the property hereinafter
described, in va~ue according to the assessed valuation for taxa-
tion of said property, has been filed with the City Council of
the City of Bremerton and the' Council has directed that notices of
the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a public
hearing was held on the 23rd day of October, 1963, and following
such public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said
described propertY.'
Section 2. That the following described tract of land
is hereby and by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within
and becomes a part of the City of Br~merton, to-wit:
A portion of Block 2, Plat of Brentwood Park as recorded
in Volume 5 of Plats, page 2, records of Kitsap County,
Washington, more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the South margin of
Primary State Highway No. 21 and the North-South center
of section line of section 16 T24N, R1E, W. M.; thence
Southerly on said North-South center of the section line
to an intersection with the Easterly extension of the
Southerly line of Lot 49; thence Westerly on said South-
erly line to the Southwest corner of said Lot 49; thence
Southwesterly on the Easterly line of Lot 47 to the
Southeast corner of said Lot 47; thence Westerly on the
Southerly line of said Lot 47 and on the Southerly
margin of line road to the Southerly extension of the
West line of Lot 46; thence Northerly on the Southerly
extension of said Lot 46 and the westerly lines of Lots
46, 45 and 42 to the Southerly margin of the Mont-View
Drive; thence Southemsterly on the Southerly margin of
Mont-View Drive to Southwesterly margin of Primary State
Highway No. 21; thence Southeasterly on the Southwesterly
margin of Primary State Highway No. 21 to the point of
beginning.
Section 3. That the following described tract of land included
in the abOve described property is hereby zoned B-2 to-wit: Lots
49 and 50 Plat of Brentwood Park.
Section 4. That an emergency exists and this ordinance
is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace~
property, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect following
passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 23rd day of October, 1963.
