Section 1. Tha~ the East-~est Alley in Block 9~ Union High School
Addition be imp;oved by 9;adin9~ placemen~ of asphaltic su;~acin9 and ~he
installation of d;ainage facilities toge~he; ~th ~he doing of any and all
~;k in connection ~he~e~i~h as may be necessa;y to make such imp;or.est
a complete ~ob~ all in acco;dance ~lth'~he maps~ plans and specifications
no~ on-file in ~he office of ~he City Enginee~ of ~he City of B~eme~on.
Section 2. Tha~ ~he maps~ plans and specifications p~epa~ed b~ ~he
Ci~ Engineer, no~ on file in ~he office o~ said Ci~ Engineer, fo~ the
aforesaid improvement be and the same are hereby adopted.
Section 3., That ~he cost and expense
borne'by and assessed against the p~ope~ty included i~ the assessmen~
district hereinaf~e~ crea~ed, tn accordance ~f~h ~he p~ovisions of the
Revised Code of Bashington )5.~.080 except such proportion of said cost
as shall be bo~ne by and paid fo~ b~ the Sta~e of ~ashington o~ o~her
9ove~nmental agency, ~hich p~opo~tion of such cost and expense is he~eb~
declared to be in accordance ~ith the special benefits conferred upon
such proper~y. .

Section 5. Tha~ ~he cos~ and expense of said imp~ov~en~ to be bo~ns

a9ainst said prope~y included in said Inprov~en~ District tn accordance

visions of the Revised, Code of Mashtngton'35.~3.080 and the remainder of
said cost of the improvement to be paid for by arrangement, if any, uith
the State of Washington or other 9overnmental agency.
Section G. That bonds, ~arrants or installment notes bearing interest
at a rate of not more than six percent per annum~ payable on of before 10
years from the date of issuances, shall be issued in payment of the cost
and expense of said improvement assessed against the property included in
the district hereinabove described ~hich bonds~ ~arrants of installment
notes shall be redeemed by a collection of special assessment levied and
assessed against ~he property ~tthin said district~ payable in equal annual
instellments~ ~tth interest at the fate of not to exceed e~ght percent per
annum under the mode of payment by bonds~ ~arrants or installment notes es

demption of ~arrants on the Local Improvement District funds issued on the
estimate of ~he City Engineer of the City of 8remerton may, at its option~
sell said bonds~ ~arrants or installment notes and make such redemption in
cash,
Section ?. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
