AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating into the
corporate limits of the City of Bremerton certain
land lying outside the limits of the City of
:.~L~ , Ck." Bremerton and being contiguous to the City of
~. '~:~.~ i~,-~. THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. WHEREAS, a petition signed by the Owners of
more than seventy-five percent (75%) of the property hereinafter
described, in value according to the assessed valuation for taxa-
tion of said property, has been filed with the City Council of
the City of Bremerton and the Council has directed that notices of
the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a public
hearing was held on the 22nd day of May, 1963, and following
such public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said
described property.
$~ction 2. THAT the following-described tract .of land
is hereby and by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within
and becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the east
margin of Stewart Road with the easterly extension
of the north line of lot 5 of Manette Villa Tracts;
thence westerly along the north line of said lot 5
to its intersection with the west line of said lot
5; thence southerly along the west line of lots 5,
6, and 8, of said plat to its intersection with
the centerline of Sheridan Road to its inter-
section with the southerly extension of the east
margin of Stewart Road; thence north along the east
margin of Stewart Road to the point of beginning.
APPROVED on first reading this ~?~.~. day of May, 1963.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this ~_,~day of May, 1963.
