funds for which no appropriation was made in
the 1963 budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated to item 3.33,
Maintenance and Operation, Police Department, the sum of $19.46
and to the item 3.33, Maintenance and Operation, Fire Department,
the sum of $132.93 from funds not otherwise appropriated. That
at the time of the adoption of the 1963 budget it was not known
that certain bills for clothing in said departments had not been
paid.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is hereby
declared to exist and it is necessary that the foregoing appro-
priations be made for the present preservation of the peace,
health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Bremer-
ton, and is required by law, and this ordinance shall be in effect
immediately following passage and publicatiom.

Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
