merit District No. 290, providing for the improvement of East 30th Street, from
Halverson Avenue to Sanders Avenue, as in said Ordinance described; providing for
the levying and assessing for the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels
and lots of land between the termini and within the boundaries of said improvement
district; providing for the collection thereof; creating end establishing a special
fund therefor; and fixing the date for the issuance of an installment note thereof.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. 290
providing for the improvement of East 30th Street from Halverson Avenue to
Sanders Avenue bv the construction of concrete curbs and gutters and asphaltic
surfacing together with the doing of anV and ell other work in connection there-
with as may be necessary to make such improvement s complete job, all in accordance
with the plans end s?ecifications on file in the Offic~ of the GitV Engineer and
as provided bv Ordinance No. 255.3, the same is hereby ~pproved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in
said assessment roll is specially benefited by said improvement and that there be
and is hereby assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof and
other property contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll, in-
cluding any property belonging to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts
in said roll set against each parcel and lot of land and cr part thereof and other
property between the termini of said improvement, abutting upon, adjacent or
proximate to said improvement, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to
be first lien against each parcel or lot or part thereof against which the sams is
assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby creatsd
and established a special fund to be known as "Local Improvement Fund Oistrict 290".
An Installment Note as authorized by Chap. 165. Laws of 1961, bearing interest at
4%, in the amount necessary to provide for the uncollected portion of said district
on the date hereinafter fixed, shall be issued and sold to one of the City's
Investment Funds. Said Installment Note shall be dated on said date, and shall
be payable from said "Local improvement Fund District No. 290".
Section 4. That the ,~. ~L day of ~/L~~-~.~i~O , 196~ be and ~he same is
hereby fixed for the date of the installment note to be issued on account o~ said
improvement.

Saction 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immedetaly
after its passage and p~_~blication as provided by law.
