HomeMy WebLinkAbout2466 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Bremerton, levying municipal taxes against all
of the taxable property within the City Limits of Bremerton for the year 1961
and approving the assessment roll made by the Assessor of Kitsap County therefor,
to be collected in the year 1962.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That a tax of the total valuation of the taxable property of the
City of Bremerton, assessed in the sum of $~22,265.00, said tax being in amounts
as follows, be and the same is hereby levied against the taxable property located
within the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton, for municipal purposes, for
the year 1961, to be collected in the year 1962, the same to be carried on the tax
rolls and collected by the Trmasurer of Kitsap County:

*This levy to be against all the taxable property within the City of Bremerton.
** This levy to be against all the taxable property within the City of Bremerton
as of November 4, 1958.
Section 2. That the assessment roll as made by the County Assessor of Kitsap
County, Washington, and reviewed by the County Commissioners of said County,
assessing property values as a basis for taxes for the year 1961 to be collected
in the year 1962, in which said roll the taxable property in the City of Bremerton
is assessed in the sum of $23,965,143.00 be and the said assessment roll is hereby
approved as the assessment roll for levying taxes for the City of Bremerton.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
following passage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~th
day of October, 1961.
