AN ORDINANCE establishing the position of Office
Engineer, and establishing the range and detail
for the positions of Engineering Aide II and
Ci.T. il Engineer I, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there is hereby established within the
Engineer's Office the position of Office Engineer, Range 22, Detail
510; Appropriation, $2,040.00; within the ENGINEERING- GENERAL of
the 1961 Budget entitled SA~%RIES & MAGES, to the item Engineering
Aide II, there is hereby established a Range 20, Detail 436, Appro-
priation, $1,962.00; and to the position Civil Engineer I, a
Range 20, Detail 454; Appropriation, $5,448.00.
Section 2. That the City Auditor is hereby authorized
to transfer within said budget unexpended salaries to the appropri-
ations set forth in Section 1 o~hls ordinance, as authorized by
RCW 35.33.120.
Section 3. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the
public peace, health, and safety of the citizens of the City of
Bremerton, and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this 16th day of August, 1961.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such' passage this 23rd day of August, 1961.
