special fund to be known as the Phinney Bay Water
District Betterment Fund and providing for the
deposit of funds therein and the disbursement
thereof.
T~E CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to establish a special fund to be known as the Phinney
Bay Water District Betterment Fund.
Section 2. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
and directed to place in said fund any funds of said water district
accruing to the City of Bremerton under the provisions of RCW 35.13.220
through 35.13.240 because of the annexation of any part or the whole
of said Phinney Bay Water District.
Section 3. That any funds received through said annexation
shall only be expended in the area so annexed for the betterment,
extension, repair and maintenance of the water supply system of the
City of Bremerton in said area. Said fund shall be expended under
the direction of the City Council.
APPROVED on first reading this 26th day of July, 1961.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 2nd day of August, 1961.
