corporate limits of the City of Bremerton certain
~' '~ land lying outside the l~mits of the City of
Bremerton and being c~ntiguous to the City of
~ Bremerton and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRI~/~TON DOES ORDAIN:
~ Section 1. Whereas, a petition signed by the owners of
"\~ more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the property hereinafter
· described, in value according to the assessed valuation for taxa-
~ tion of said propertyj has been filed with the City Council of
.~ the City of Bremerton and the Council has directed that notice of
the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a public
hearing was held on the/~day of June, 1961, and following such
public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said
described property.
Section 2. That the following-described tract of land
is hereby and by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within
and becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
The North 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of the North-
east 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, and the Westerly
30 feet of the North 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4; all in
Section 11, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
Section 3. That an emergency exists and this ordinance
is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
property, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton
and this o~dinance shall be in full f~rce and effect following
passage &nd publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this ~day of June, 1961.
