Swimming Pool, Park and Recreation; transferring
funds to this position from the item Lifeguards;
and declaring an emergency.
T~ CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN~
Section 1. That the item Supervisor, Swimming Pool, Park
and Recreation, detailed Two Dollars ($2.00) per hour, is hereby
amended to read Four H~ndred Dollars ($400.00) per month.
Section 2. That there is hereby transferred from the
budget item Lifeguards, Swimming Pool, Park and Recreation, the sum
of Eight Hundred Dollars.. ($800.00) to the item Supervisor, Swimming
Pool, Park and Recreation, and there is hereby appropriated to said
item the a~oresaid sum of Eight H~ndred Dollars ($800.00).~
Section 3. That, by reason of a re-evaluation of the
operation of the swimming pool by the Park and Recreation Commission,
it was determined that it was necessary that the supervisor be placed
on a full-time basis, and for that reason there exists and is hereby
declared to exist an emergency, and this ordinance is necessary for
the present preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and is required~ for
carrying on the operation of the swimming pool, and this ordinance
shall be in effect immediately following passage and publicat~ion.
APPROVED on first reading this 17th day of May, i~9~1'~' i
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the C~ty
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the Clty.~iCler~ in~
authentication of such passage this 24th day of May, 1961.
