Section i of Ordinance NO. 1880 and amending
Section 31 of Ordinance No. 1781, and declaring
an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOF~ ORI~:
Section 1. That Section I of Ordinance No. 1880 be and
the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. That Section 31 of Ord~lance No. 1781±is hereby
amended to read as follows=
Section 31. Precinct No. 30. Beginning at
the intersection of the Northerly right of way
line of Primary State H~ghway No. 21 and the'
Westerly margin of Shorewood l~rive~ thence Northerly
along the Westerly margin of Shorewood I~ive to its
intersection with the Northerly line of .Government
Lot 4~ thence Westerly along said line to its
intersection with the North-South center-section
line-of Section 16~ being the Easterly margin of
Brentwood Drive~ thence Northerly along said center-
section line to its intersection with the Southerly
margin of Beach D~ive~ thence Westerly along the
Southerly margin of Beach Drive to its intersection
with the Westerly margin of Brentwood D~ive~ thence
Northerly along the Southerly extension of the
Westerly lot line c0~maon to Lots 1 thru 15, Brentwood
Park Addition to its ~ntersection with the section
line common to Sections 9 and 16, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East, W.M. 7 thence Westerly along said
section line 36.78 feet~ thence North 208 feet=
thence East to the Government meander line of
Ostrich Bay~ thence following said meander line
Southerly, Easterly, Northerly to the tip of Madrona
Point~ thence continuing along said meander line,
Southerly and Easterly, to the Northeast corner of
Government Lot 5, said Seution 167 thence Southerly
on the East line of Government Lot 5 to the center
line of Russell Road~ thence SouthweSterly on the
C~ter line of Russell Road to the center line of
Baer Boulevard~ thence Northwesterly on the center
line of Baer Boulevard to the center line of Arsenal
Way~ thence Northeasterly' on the center line of
Arsenal Way to the Northerly margin of Prin~ry State
Highway No. 217 thence Weaterly on the Northerly
margin of Primary State Highway No. 21 to the point
of beginning.
Section 3. That a portion of the above-described property
was annexed to the City of Bremerton this day, entitling the residents
therein to vote in the general city election to be held March 14,
1961, and the immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary to
make a precinct available for said residents~ that an emergenc~
exists and is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is necessary
fox the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton~ and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect immediately u~on passage~ Pv~?~.~×o~V,
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passagetthis 8th day of March, 1961.-
