Bremerton, amending Sections 1, 2, and 4 of Ordin-
ance No. 1972 and repealing Sections 3, 5, 6, and
7 of Ordinance No. 1972.
TH~ CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section l~-~of Ordinance No. 1972 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. Beginning at the Northeast corner of
Lot 5, Block 10, Original Town of Bremerton as recorded
in Volume 2 of Plats, page 30, r~corded in Kitsap
County, Washington; thence along the existing city limit
line, and the Northerly extension thereof to the center~
line of Burwell Street; thence Westerly on the centerline
of Burwell Street to the Southerly extension of the West
margin of Block 14, Original Town of Bremerton; thence
Northerly on the West margin of said Block 14, Original
Town of Bremerton and the Northerly extension thereof to
the centerline of 4th Street; thence Westerly on the
centerline of 4th Street to a point 200 feet West of the
intersection of 4th Street and Park Avenue; thence
Northerly parallel to the centerline of Park Avenue to a
point 100 feet South of the centerline of 7th Street;
thence Easterly parallel to the centerline of 7th Street
to a point 200 feet West of the centerline of Pacific
Avenue; thence Northerly parallel to the centerline of
Pacific Avenue 400 feet; thence Easterly, parallel to the
centerline of 8th Street, 300 feet; thence Southerly,
parallel to the centerline of Pacific Avenue, to the
centerline of 6th Street; thence Easterly on- the center~
line of 6th Street to the Government Meander Line; thence
Southerly and Westerly along said Meander Line to the
existing city limits; thence Northeasterly along said
city limit line to the Southeasterly corner of Block 10,
Original Town of Bremerton; thence Northerly along the
Easterly margin of said Block 10, Original Town of
Bremerton to the Northeast corner and the point of
beginning.
AND
Beginning at the intersection of Burwell Street and
Montgomery Avenue; thence Westerly to the centerline of
the North~South alley between Callow Avenue and Wycoff
Avenue; thence Northerly on the centerline of said alley
to the centerline of llth Street; thence Easterly
on the centerline of llth Street to the centerline of
Montgomery Avenue; thence Southerly on the centerline
of Montgomery Avenue to the point of beginning.
Section 2. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1972 is hereby
amended to read as follows:

Section 2. Beginning at the intersection of the
centerline of Warren Avenue with the Northerly boundary
of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, said boundary being the
corporate city limit line; thence Westerly on said city
limit line, 200 feet; thence Northerly to the centerline
of the East~West alley in Block 24, Original Town of
Bremerton; thence Westerly parallel to the centerline of
6th Street 'to a point 200 feet Easterly of the centerline
of Naval Avenue; thence Southerly, parallel to the ]center~
line of Naval Avenue, to the centerline of the East--West
alley in Block 6, William Bremer's 1st Addition; thence
Westerly, parallel to the centerline of 6th Street, 200
feet; thence Northerly, parallel to the centerline of
Naval Avenue, to a point 100 feet South of the centerline
of 6th Street; thence Westerly to the centerline of
Bryan Avenue; thence Southerly on the centerline of
Bryan Avenue to a point 200 feet South of the centerline
of Burwell Avenue; thence Westerly parallel to the
centerline of Burwell Avenue to the centerline of the
North~South alley in Block 5, Terrell's Addition to
Charleston; thence Southerly along the centerline of
said alley and its southerly projection to a point
400 feet Northerly of the centerline of VRodgers Street;
thence Easterly to the West Boundary of Puget Sound
Naval Shipyard said boundary being the Corporate City
Limits; thence Southerly and Westerly along said city
limit line to the Southerly corner of Lot 6, Block 6,
Anderson's Bay View Addition to Port Orchard; thence
Northerly, parallel to the Centerline of Preble Avenue
to a point 400 feet North of the centerline of Rodgers
Street; thence Easterly to the centerline of the North-
South alley in Block 9, original Town of Charleston;
thence Northerly parallel to the centerline of Callow
Avenue, to a point 200 feet South of the centerline of
Burwell Street; thence '~esterly to the centerline of
the North~South alley in Block 3, Terrell's Addition to
Charleston; thence Northerly parallel to the centerline
of Wycoff to a point 200 feet North of the centerline of
llth Street; thence Easterly parallel to the centerline
of llth Street, to the centerline of the North~South
alley in Block 1, Larson".s Third Addition; thence
Southerly parallel to the centerline of Montgomery
Avenue to a point 150 feet North of the centerline of
6th Street; thence Easterly, parallel to the centerline '
of 6th Street to a point 150 feet West of the centerline
of Naval Avenue; thence Northerly parallel to the
centerline of Naval Avenue to the centerline of 7th
Street; thence Easterly on the centerline of 7th Street
to a point 200 feet East of Naval Avenue; thence Southerly
parallel to the centerline of Naval Avenue to the
centerline of the East~West alley in Block 9, Union
High School Addition; thence Easterly parallel to
the centerline of 6th Street to the centerline of the
North~South Alley in Block 1, Dietz's Addition; thence
Northerly to the North margin of 8th Street; thence
Easterly to the centerline of the North~South alley in
the replat of Louis L. Loo's Addition; thence Northerly
to the centerline of the East~est alley in Jens
Jacobson's Addition; thence Easterly to a point 100
feet East of the centerline of Pleasant Avenue; thence
Southerly parallel to the centerline of Pleasant Avenue
to a point 200 feet North of the centerline of 6th
Street; thence Easterly to the Government Meander Line;
thence Southerly and Westerly along said Government
Meander Line to the boundary of Puget Sound Naval
Shipyard; said boundary being the existing city limit
line; thence Northerly and Westerly on said city limit
line to the centerline of Warren Avenue and the point
of beginning: EXCEPT those areas described as Fire
District No. 1, Central Business District and Fire
District No. 1, West Bremerton Business District.
Section 3. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1972 is hereby
amended to read as follows:

Section 4. Ail that portion of the City of
Bremerton embraced within the following~escribed
limits shall be Fire Zone No. 2~3.
Lots 14 and 15, Block 1, Queen Anne Addition
to Br emer ton.
Section 4. That Sections 3, 5, 6, and 7 of Ordinance
No. 1972 be and the same are hereby repealed.
APPROVED on first reading this 15th day of February, 1961.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this
