AN ORDINANCE relating to local improvements, assessments,
special assessments, and reassessments in the City of
Bremerton, providing for the financing thereof; and the
creation of local improvement districts; and adopting
Chapters 35.43 and 35.44 of the Revised Code of the State
of Washington for reforms as provided by Section 1,
Chapter 213, Session Laws of 1943; providing for penalties
for the violation thereof; repealing Ordinance 505 ~nd 821.
THE CITY OF BRF24ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance number 505 and 821 be and the
same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. That Chapters 35.43 and 35.44 of the Revised Code
of the State of Washington are hereby adopted insofar as the same may
be applicable to the creation of local improvement districts, assess-
ments, reassessments, and financing thereof in the City of Bremerton.
Section 3. Any person violating any provision of the Chapter
set forth in Section 2 of this ordinance will be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not to exceed
three hundred dollars ($300) or imprisonment in the City Jail not to
exceed ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 4. In citing the Specific provisions of the code
referred to in Section 2 hereof, the same may be cited by reference
to the Revised Code of Washington or by reference to any compilations
published by the Bureau of Governmental Research at the University of
Washington, or by reference to the Session Laws of the State of Washington.
