Finisher, Range i8, in Water Distribution; increas-
ing the n~.~ber of Heavy Equipment Operators, Range
16, to three in Water Distribution; establishing
the position of Pipeman Helper, Rang-e i5, in Water
Distribution; transferring an¢] appropriating fund~
to the items "Hea~ Equipment Operator" and "Pipe-
man Helper" in Water Distribution; and declaring an
emergency.
T~ CITY OF BR~-'RTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section i. That the position of Cem~ant Finisher ,'~ Range
in the item "Salary and Wages, Water Distribution" in the 1%~0 Bu<~get
is hereby-abolished.
Section 2. That the number of Heav~' Equipment Operator.?,
Range 16, in the item "Salary and Wages, Water Distribution" is h,~reby
increased to three.
Section 3. ']3hat there is transferred from the itei'a
~inisher" in said budge, t item the s~m of Five Thousand Four Hundr~
Twenty-four and 8~,I100 Dollars ($5,424.88) to the item "Three Hea~-y
~quipment Operators, Ran~3'e 16" in sai¢~ budget item; 'and-ther~ is
hereby appropriated to sale= budget item th~ s~.a of Five Thousa~d
Four Hundre~ Twenty-four and 88/100 Dollars ($5,424.88).
Section 4. That there is hereby establishe¢i the positi
of Pipeman Helper, Range 15, at the hourly z~ate of Two and
Dollars ($2.16) in the item "Salary and Wages, Water Distribution"
and there is transferred from the item "Extra Labor" the su~ of
Four Thousand Dollars ($~I~,000.00) to, and 'there is hereby appropriateo
to, the position "Pipeman H.eiper" in sail[ budget the sai,'~ Foyer Th u-

Section 5. That a change in the nature of the wor~c of ::he
office of Water Distribution has 'mad~e it n~cessary that 'the fcreg~in?
jobs be established[ and increased; and an emercj-ency exists an~ is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is necessary for the pres-
ervation of the puDlic peace, health, safety, ani] welfare of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton.
