tion, repair, and operation of electric wiring,
connections, fixtures, and appliances; providing
for the securing of permits and the payment of
fees; and amending paragraph 3 of Section 5,
Ordinance No. 1948.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That paragraph 3 of Section 5 of Ordinance
No. 1948 is hereby amended to read as follows:
3. Permit fees for commercial, industrial, and
public buildings such as rOoming houses, hospitals,
churches, tkeaters, dance halls, etc. Fees to be
based on contractor's bid price, including fixtures
and equipment permanently Connected.

Over $100 to $300 1.50 plus 1% of valuation
Over $300 to $1000 4.50 plus 1/2% of valuation
Over $1000to $3000 9.50 plus 1/4% of valuation
Over $3000 2.00~ per $1000 or fraction
thereof plus $17 for the
first $3000
When the exact amount of work tO be done under
any permit can not be definitely determined at the
time the application for a permit is made, the
Electrical Inspector may issue a partial permit
pending determination of the full value of the work
done at which time the~balance due shall be paid.
If work for Which a permit is required is started
before the permit is obtained, the fee for said permit
shall be doubled. Payment of such increased fee shall
in no way relieve any person required to obtain a
permit from the penalties prescribed for a violation
of this Code.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
