HomeMy WebLinkAbout2534 AN ORDINANCE relating to holidays, leave and compensations,
and amending Ordinance 1813 by adding thereto a new para-
graph numbered 6A, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 6 of Ordinance 1813 is hereby
amended by adding thereto a new paragraph A. If any holiday falls
on the second day of the regular days off of any employee whose
days off are not Saturday and Sunday, such employee shall receive
the day following such second day off as a holiday, and, if required
to work on such day, shall be compeneated in accordance with the
applicable provisions of this ordinance.
Section 2. That an emergency exists affecting the public
peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton
and that this Ordinance shall become effective following passage
and publication.
