of the City of Bremerton, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the appropriation for the item Assistant
Chief in Section 1, Salaries and ~ages, Police General is hereby
eliminated, and the item 1.01 uniform allowance and the appropriation
thereto of Section 2, Maintenance and Operation, Police General are
hereby eliminated.
Section 2. That the item fire fighters, Section 1, Sal-
aries and Wages, Fire General is reduced from 30 to 27 and the item
clothing allowance, and the appropriation thereto Section 2, Main-
tenance and Operation, Fire General are hereby eliminated.
Section 3. That an emergency exists affecting the public
peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton
and that this Ordinance shall become effective January 1, 1963,
following passage and publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
