AN ORDINANCE relating to voting precincts repealing
Section 1~'and Section 6~f Ordinance No. 2463 f~ Section
~5 of Ordinance No. 2374,P~Sections 4,~5,~and 8~f
Ordinance 2390,~-' Section 8~0f Ordinance'No. 202~'~ Section 4
of Ordinance No. 250t4p~'and Ordinance No. 21414 and amendin~
Sections
45, 47, 51, and 5~of Ordi~ance No. 1781,
and adding mew Section 45Wand declaring an emergency.
TH~ CITY OF BREMER~ON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 1 and Section 6 of Ordinance No. 2463;
Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2374; Section 4, 5, and 8 of Ordinance
2390; Section 8 of Ordinance No. 2026; Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2504,
and Ordinance No. 2141 be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 2. That Section 30 of Ordinance No. 1781 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 30, PRECINCT NO. 29 beginning at the point of
intersection of the centerline of Kitsap Way and Oyster
Bay Ave.; thence north along the centerline of Oyster
Bay Ave. extended north to the meanderline; thence north-
easterly, southeasterly, northeasterly, and northwesterly
along the meander line to it's intersection with the
north line of the South west % of Section 15, Township 24
North, Range 1 east. W.M.: thence east along said north
line of the South west % of Section 15 to it's intersection
with the west line of the north west % of the south west
% of said Section 15; thence south along said west line
to it's intersection with the north margin of 9th St.
extended west: thence east along the north margin of 9th
St. to it's intersection with the north westerly margin
of Kitsap Way; thence northeasterly along said north-
westerly margin of Kitsap Way to it's intersection with
the west margin of Charlotte Ave. extended north; thence
north along said west margin of Charlotte Ave. to it's
intersection with the east west centerline of Section 15;
thence east along said centerline to it's intersection
with the northwesterly margin of Kitsap Way; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly margin of said
Kitsap Way to it's intersection with the east margin of
Adele Ave. extended north; thence south along the east
margin of Adele Ave. and continuing south along the
east margin of Marion Ave. to it's intersection with the
centerlin.e of Burwell St.; thence west along the center-
line of Burwell St. to it's intersection with the center-
line of National Ave; thence north along the centerline
of National Ave. to the centerline of 5th St.; thence west

along the centerline of 5th St. to it's intersection
with the west margin of Pershing Ave; thence north along
the west margin of Pershing Ave. said west margin being
the corporate city limits of Bremerton and continuing
west along said City Limits line and it's extension west
to it's intersection with the centerline of Oyster Bay
Ave.; thence north along the centerline of Oyster Bay Ave.
to the Point of Beginning.
Section 3. That Section 36 of Ordinance No. 1781 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 36, PRECINCT NO. 35 beginning at the point of
intersection of ~he south margin of Sheridan Road with
the east margin of Wheaton Way; thence north along the
east margin of Wheaten Way to-the southwest corner of
lot 1, of Sylvan Park Addition; thence east along the
south line of lot 1 of said plat a distance of 225 ft.;
thence north parallel to Wheaton Way to the north line
of lot 2, of said plat; thence west along the north line
of lot 2 of said plat, to the east margin of Wheaton Way;
thence north along the east margin of Wheaton Way to the
southwest corner of lot 5 of said plat; thence east along
the south line of lot 5 of said plat a distance of 225 ft.;
thence north parallel to Wheaton Way to the south line
of lot 8, of said plat; thence east along the south line
of lot 8 of said plat a distance of 94.03 ft.; thence
north parallel to Wheaton Way to the south margin of
Sylvan Way; thence west along the south margin of Sylvan
Way to the east margin of Wheaton Way; thence north
along the east margin of Wheaton Way to the north margin
of Sylvan Way; thence east.along the north margin of
Sylvan Way a distance of 350.01 ft.; thence north parallel
to State Highway 21-B to the north line of lot 9 of said
plat, thence west along the north line of lot 9, a
distance of 125 ft.; thence north parallel to State Highway
21-B to the south line of lot 14, of said plat; thence
east along the south lines and their extensions, of lots
14, 19, and 46 of said plat to the centerline of Peters-
ville Road; thence south along the centerline of Peters-
ville Road and its extension to it's intersection with
the south margin of Sylvan Way; thence east along the
south margin of Sylvan Way to it's intersection with the
west margin of Olympus Drive; thence south along the
west margin of Olympus Drive to the south~line of lot 57
of said plat; thence west along the south line of lot 57
a distance of 250 ft.; thence south parallel to Olympus
Drive to the south line of lot 64 of said plat; thence
east along the south line of said lot 64 to the west
margin of Olympus Drive extended north; thence south
along the west margin of Olympus Drive and it's extension
a distance of 850.44 ft. to the south line of Municipal
Area 96; thence west along a line at right angles to
to Olympus Drive a distance of 281.68 ft.; thence north

parallel to Olympus Drive a distance of 81.05 ft. to a
point which is 355.29 ft. east of the east margin of
Sanders Ave; thence west 355.29 ft. to the east margin
of Sanders Ave. at it's intersection with the south
margin of E. 30th St.; thence south along the east margin
of Sanders Ave. to it's intersection with the south
margin of Sheridan Rd. thence west along the south margin
of Sheridan Road to the point of Beginning.
Section 4. That Section 47 of Ordinance No. 1781 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 47, PRECINCT NO. 47 beginning at the point of
intersection of the south margin of Sheridan Road with
the east margin of Cherry Ave; thence south along the
east margin of Cherry Ave. to it's intersection with
the southerly margin of Callahan Drive; thence easterly
along the south margin of Callahan Dr. to it's inter-
section with the east margin of Ash St; thence south
along the east margin of Ash St. to it's intersection
with the south line of the Plat of Stewart-Wang; thence
east along the south line of said plat to a point which
ks 1000 ft. west of Schley Blvd; thence south along a
line 1000 ft. west of Schley Blvd. and it's extension
south to the centerline of Wheaton Way; thence south-
easterly along the centerline of Wheaton Way to the most
south east corner of the Plat of United States Navy Yard
Addition to Bremerton; thence west along the south line
of said plat to it's most south westerly corner; thence
northeasterly along the southwesterly line of said plat
to the southwesterly corner of Block 28 of said plat;
thence north to the most northerly corner of said plat;
thence northerly and easterly along the westerly margin
of Clare Ave. to its intersection with the north line of
lot 151 of the plat of 1st Addition to Sheridan Park;
thence northeasterly to the south east intersection of
Sheridan Road and Wheaton Way; thence east along the
south margin of Sheridan Road to the point of beginning.
Section 5. That Section 51 of Ordinance No. 1781 is hereby
amended t° read as follows:
SECTION 51, PRECINCT NO. 51 beginning at the point of
intersection of the south margin of Sheridan Road with
the centerline of Schley Bl~d.; thence east along the
south margin of Sheridan Road to its intersection with
the west margin of Bullard Ave.; thence south along the
west margin of Bullard Ave. (said west margin being the
corporate City Limits of Bremerton) and continuing east,
south, east, south, west, and south along said city limits
to the centerline of M~gnuson Way; thence east along the
centerline of Magnuson Way to it's intersection with the
centerline of Perry Ave; thence south along the centerline

of Perry Ave. to it's intersection with the centerline
of Parker Place; thence west along the centerline of
Parker Place to it's intersection with the east margin
of Winfield Ave.; thence south along the east margin of
Winfield Ave. to it's intersection with the north margin
of the Alley running east and west between E. 21st St.
and East Highlands St.; thence west along the north margin
of said Alley and its extension west to it's intersection
with the centerline of Schley Way extended south} thence
north along the centerline of Schley Way and it's extension
to it's intersection with the centerline of Schley Blvd;
thence northerly along the centerline of Schley Blvd. to
the point of beginning.
Section 6. That Section 58 of Ordinance No. 1781 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
SECTION 58, PRECINCT NO. 56 beginni.n~ at the most Southerly
point of lot 6, Block 6, of Anderson's Bayview Addition
to Port Orchard, said point being on the northwesterly
margin of Primary State Highway No. 21; thence south-
westerly along the northwesterly margin of said State
Highway No. 21 a distance of 206.3 feet; thence north
westerly along the corporate City Limits of Bremerton to
it's intersection with the center line of Lafayette Ave.;
thence southwesterly along said centerline of Lafayette
Ave. to its intersection with the northeasterly margin
of McCollom Ave. extended southeasterly; thence north-
westerly along the north easterly margin of McCollom
Ave. to it's intersection with the centerline of the
alley running northeasterly and southwesterly in Block 3
of Anderson's Bay view Addition to Port Orchard; thence
northeasterly along the centerline of said alley to it's
intersection with the centerline of Preble St; thence
west along the centerline of Preble St. to it's inter-
section with the west margin of South Hartford Ave.;
thence north along the west margin of South Hartford Ave.
to its intersection with the South margin of Rodgers St;
thence east along the south margin of Rodgers St. to
it's intersection with the east margin of South Cambrian
Ave.; thence south along the east margin of South
Cambrian Ave. to it's intersection with the centerline
of Farragut Ave.; thence southerly and southwesterly
along the westerly margin of State Highway No. 21 to
the point of beginning.
Section 7. That there is hereby added to Ordinance No. 1781
Section 45, which reads as follows:
SECTION 45, PRECINCT NO. 45 beginning at the point of
intersection of the North margin of Marine Drive with
the North South section line common to Sections 9 and
10, ~ownship 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.; thence North

along said section to its intersection with the Meander
line; thence Northerly along the Meander line (Said
Meander line being the East boundary line of the peninsula
known as Marine Drive) to its intersection with the
Northwest corner of Lot 11 of the Plat of Kean's Beach;
thence Southerly along the West line of Lot 11 of said
plat to its intersection with the centerline of Marine
Drive; thence Southerly and Easterly along the centerline
of Marine Drive to its intersection with the North South
section line common to Section 9 and 10, Township 24
North, Range 1 East, W.M.; thence South along said North
South section line common to Sections 15 and 16 and to
its intersection with the Meander Line; thence Southerly
along said Meander line to its intersection with the
North line of the Southwest quarter of Section 15, Town-
ship 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.; thence East along
said North line of the Southwest quarter of Section 15
to its intersection with the West line of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 15;
thence South along said West line to its intersection
with the North margin of 9th Street extended West; thence
East along the North margin of 9th Street to its inter-
section with the Northwesterly margin of Kitsap Way
(Primary State Highway No. 21); thence Northeasterly
along said Northwesterly margin of Kitsap Way to its
intersection with the West margin of Charlotte Avenue
extended North; thence North along said West margin of
Charlotte Avenue to its intersection with the East West
centerline of Section 15, Township 24 North, Range 1
East, W.M.; thence East along said centerline to its
intersection with the Northwesterly margin of Kitsap
Way; thence Northeasterly along the Northwesterly margin
of said Kitsap Way to its intersection with the North-
easterly margin of Marine Drive; thence Northwesterly
along said Northeasterly margin of Marine Drive to its
intersection with the Easterly margin of Rocky Point
Road; thence Northerly along the Easterly margin of
Rocky Point Road to the Easterly extension of the North
line of the North 60' of the South 370.5' of the East
532' of Government Lot 4, Section 10, Township 24 North,
Range 1 East, W.M.; thence Westerly on said North line
of the East line of the North 50' of the south 406' of
the East 120' of the West 290' of the East 25 acres of
said Government Lot 4; thence Northerly on said line to
the North line of said tract; thence Westerly to the
West line of the East 25 acres of Government Lot 4;
thence Southerly to the Northerly margin of Kelly Road;
thence Westerly on the Northerly Margin of Kelly Road to
the Northerly margin of Marine Drive; thence Westerly
on the Northerly margin of Marine Drive to the Point of
Beginning.
Section 8. By virtue of the re-districting of the County
Commissioners district it became possible for the City to combine
