to place, construct, and maintain benches with advertising
thereon at designated locations on the streets and sidewalks
in the City of Bremerton.
The City of Bremerton Does Ordain:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Bremerton is
hereby authorized to permit the placing, construction, and maintenance
of benches with advertising thereon on the streets and sidewalks in
the City of Bremerton, by written contract the terms and conditions
of which are to be determined by the City Council.
Section 2. That the Contractor shall post a performance
bond with the City guaranteeing performance, and shall also carry
public liability insurance to save the City harmless from any claims
arising from the maintenance of these benches.
Section 3. Not withstanding any prohibition contained in
any other Ordinance or regulations of the City of Bremerton, benches
with commercial advertising upon them shall be authorized in the City
of Br emer ton.
APPROVED on first reading this~/~aJCday of February, 1962.
PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading by the City Council
of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this ~'~day of February, 1962.
