AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area Maps of
Ordinance No. 1792 and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That, pursuant to Resolution No. 92 of the
Planning Commission of the City of Bremerton, the Use and Area
Maps of Ordinance No. 1792 be, and they are hereby amended in
conformity with Chapter 1, Title 4 thereof, as follows:
LOtt23;)mnd .the_east half of Lot 24, Block 24, Plat of
the Town of Bremerton, from Residental - One (R-l) to
Business - Three (B-3)
Section 2. That, by reason of change in the Use and Area
Maps, an emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist, and this
ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Bremerton, and for the
general welfare, and the same shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this ITth day of January, 1962.

PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NUMBER 92
· MEREAS, proceedings for the reclassification of the
hereinafter described property have been duly and regularly
initiated on the petition of K. 0. Schultheis, and
WHEREAS, hearing has been duly and regularly held
thereon, and
WHEREAS the reclassification of said property carried
the approval of over 51% by area of all property owners
affected thereby, and is deemed by the Planning Commission
of the City of Bremerton to be in the best interests of
the City of Bremerton, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Bremerton be, and the said Council is hereby respectfully
requested to pass an ordinance amending the Use and Area Yaps
of Ordinance No. 1792 in conformity with Chapter 1, Title 4
thereof, in the following manner:
Lot 23 and the east half of Lot 24, Block 24, Plat of
the Town of Bremerton, from Residential - One (R-l) to
Business - Three
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the reclassification of
said property affects the peace, health and safety of the
City of Bremerton, and said ordinance should be adopted
immediately.
PASSED by the Planning Commission of the City of Bremerton
this 15~ day of November, 1961.
