Yanti~ Avenue from Farragut Street to Rodgers Street
all in accordance with the plans, maps, and spscifications on file in the office
of the CitV Engineer; adopting said plans, maps and specifications; establishing
an improvement district; providing for the levying of assessments for the payment
of such improvement and making such improvement pavable bv bonds or installment
notes.
THE CITY OF 8RENERTON OOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Yantic Avenue from Farragut Street to Rodgers Street be
improved bv the Construction of Concrete Curbs, Gutters, Catch Basins and Sewer
Connections and Asphaltic Surfacing of the Street, together with the doing of
anv and all work in connection therewith as mav be necessary to make such im-
provement a complete job, all in accordance with the maps, plans and specifi-
cations now on file in the office of the GitV Engineer of the GitV of 8remerton.
Section 2. That the maps, plans and specifications prepared bv the Citv
Engineer, now on file in the office of said Citv Engineer, for the aforesaid
improvement be and the same are hereby adopted.
Section 3. That the cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne
bV and assessed against the propertv included in the assessment district h~rain-
after created, in accordance with the provisions of the Revised Code of Washington
35.43.080 except such proportion of said cost as shall be borne bv and paid for
by the ~tate of Washington or other governmental agency, which proportion of such
~ost and expense is herebV declared to be in accordance with the special benefits
conferred upon such propertV.
Section 4. That there is herebv established and created a local improvement
district to be called and known as:
Local Improvement District No. 293
th~ boundaries of which are described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Rodgers St.
with the centerline of Y~ntic Ave; thence west along the centerline of
Rodgers St. to its intersection with the centerline of the alley running
north and south in Block 13 of the Plat of Port Orchard Addition; thence
south ~long the centerline of said alley and its extension south to its
intersection with the centerline of Farragut St; thence east along the
centerline of Farragut St. to the east line of lot N of Block 12 of said
plat extended south; thence no~th along the east line of said lot N and
its extension and continuing north along the centerline of the allev
running north and south in Block 12 of.said plat to the intersection of
the centerline of Rodgers St.; thence west along the centertine of
Rodgers St. to the point of beginning.

ORDINANCE
Seotion 5. That the oost and expense of said improvement to be borne bv
said improvement district and exclusive of anV portion borne bv either the State
of Washington or other governmental agencv shall be assessed against said
included in said Improvement District in peopo~tion to said a~ea bv the use of the
termini and zone method, and in accordance with the peovi~ions of the Revi~ed Code
of Washington 35.N3.080, and the ~emaindee of said cost of th~ improvement to be
paid fo~ bv a~angement, if anv, with the State of Washington o~ othe~ governmental
agencv.
Section 6. That bonds o~ installment notes bea~ing interest at ~ ~ate of
not mo~e th~n six percent pe~ annum, pa~able on o~ before lO vea~ ream the date
of issuance, shall be issued in pavment of the cost and expense of said improve-
ment assessed against the p~ope~tV included in the district he~einabove described
which bonds o~ installment notes s~all be ~edeemed bV a collection of special
assessment levied and assessed against the p~ope~tV within said district, pavable
in equal annual installments, with interest at the ~ate of not to exceed eight
percent pea annum unde~ the mode of pavment bv bonds o~ installment notes a~ ~e-
qui~ed bv law and the oedinances of the Gitv of B~eme~ton. These bonds oe install-
ment not~s shall be delivered to the cont~acto~ in ~edemption of wa~ants on the
Local Impeovement District funds issued on the estimate of the CitV Engineer,
the Citv of Beeme~ton mav, at its option, sell said bonds az installment note~
and make such ~edemption In cash.
Section 7. That this Dzdinance shall take effect immediatei~ following its
