AN ORDINANCE providing for an appropriation of funds
for which an insufficient appropriation wa~ made in
the 1964 budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated and transferred
to the item, Grounds Improvement and Acquisition, Capitol Outlay, Parks
and Recreation budget from the General Fund the sum of $2000.00 from
funds not otherwise appropriated. That at the time of the adoption of
the budget it could not have been reasonably forseen that the Coal Dock
at ~ West Sheridan would deteriorate so rapidly that it would become
a menace to the public health and welfare.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared
to exist and said appropriation is made for preservation of the public
peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Bremerton and this
Ordinance shall be in effect immediately following passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this 18th day of March, 1964.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this ~_~~__day of March, 1964.
