T~ CI~ OF BR~~N ~ES
Section 1. ~e is hereby gr~nted to the Kitsap
Co.unity Cable T.V. Company the right and privilege to construct,
erect, o~ate and maintain, ov~ and und~ streets and alleys, poles,
wires, cables, conduits and oth~ television conductors and fixt~es
necessary for the maintenance and op~ation in the City of ~emerton
of ~ co. unity television for the s~le and distribution of television
signals.
Section 2. The Company is authorized to contract with
Puget Sound Pow~ and Light Company and Northwest ~11 Telephone Com-
pany for the use of their poles and conduits and the Company shall
erect no poles or install und~o~d conduits without the express
p~mission of said utilities and shall be subject to ~dinance %2239
and %2169.
Section 3. ~e Company shall pay to the City ~eas~er
for the ~privilege of opiating a Co~ity Television Syst~ as h~ein
provided a s~ equal to 2 p~ cent of its ~nnual gross operating
revenues received on all sales of television signals within the City of
~em~ton until Dece~ 31, 1964, On the first day of each and ev~y
year thereaft~, said tax shall ~ in. eased 2 per cent until the tax
shall equal 10 per cent of the ~nnual ~oss revenues of s~id Company
within the City Limits of the City of ~em~ton
Section 4. The pa~ent of s~id tax shall be made in the
mann~ and form as pres~ibed in ~dinance %2515.
APPROVED on first reading this '~ day of February,
1964.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this ~ day of February, 1964.
