which insufficient appropriatmons were made in the 1965
budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF B~i~iEtiTOi~ DOES ~l~:
. Section 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Street Fund, under the
classification ~aintenance and Operation, to the item 2.11 Vehicle Expense the
sum of ~20~8OO.OO, and %o the item 3.~1 Small Tools and Supplies the sum of
~ ~200.OO. Thats at the tzme of the adoption of the budgets mt could not have
been reasonably foreseen that payments to the Equipment Rental Fund for vehicle
expense, including depreciation, would exceed the amount estimated therefor
and that it would be necessary to purchase more small tools and supplies than
estimated.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated in the Radio Naintenance
budget, under ~intenance and Operations to the item 3.01 Repair Parts and
Supplies the sum of $1OO.OO and under Capital OUtlay to the item h-1 DC to
AC Gonverter the sum of $50.00. That, at the time of the adoptmon of the
budget, it could not have been reasonably foreseen that addmtmonal parts and
supplies would be required for the efficient operation of the department and
that the cost of the converter would be more than the estimate filed.
Section 3. There is hereby appropriated in the Fire Alarm ~intenance
budget, ~mder ~aintenance and Operations to the item 3.O1 ~epair Parts and
Supplies the sum of ~350.0U. That at the time of the adoption of the budget
it could not have been reasonably foreseen that additional parts and supplies
would be required for the maintenance of the system.
Section h. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist
and mt ~s necessary tl~t the foregoing appropriations be mace for the present
preservation of the public peace~ health, safety anm welfare of tne citmzens of
Bremerton, anmare requirem for carrymng out the necessary work ~n the above-named
departments and this Ordinance shall be in effect zmmedmately following passage
and publicatmon. D~
