of Washington Cities in cooperation ~,~ith the Bureau of Govern~e:.~tal
Research and oe_vmces, and said. com'oilation is hereby7 adopted as the
Traffic Ordinance of the City of Bremertor~.
Section 2. PE~,[ALTIES: Any ~erson violatin~ any of
the provisions of the Traffic Ordinances of the City of Bremerton set
forth in Section 1 hereof shall be guilty of ~ mmsa.~m,~anor for which
he shall be fined not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars (~300.00)~ or
imprisoned in the City Jail of :Bremerton not to exceed Ninety (90)
days, or both such fine and imprisonment~ Provided However no such
fine or imprisonment shall exceed that fine or imprisonment otherwise
specifically ~rescribed by the vrovisions of Section ! hereof.
Section 3. ~F~EC~ OF ~AR~IA~ INVALIDITY: If an:.~,~ part
or earts of this ordinance; or any of the provisions adoDted
reference by this ordinance, are for any reason held to be invalid~
such invalidity shall not af,~ect the validity of the remaining oortions
of this ordinance or the ~rovisions adopted by reference herein.
Section 4 SHORT ~T~
· ~.~.~,~: This ordinance may be ~nown
and cited as the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Bremerton and the
~rovisions ~reof cited by the Revised Code of Washington Chapter and
Section number set forthn~e~rein.
Section 5. R~-,P,,..~AL. Ordi~ance ~i~[o. 2473 of the City
of Bremerto~ is hereby reDea!ed, and all ordinances or ~arts of
ordinances in conflict ~4ith~ or inconsistent with, the provisions
of this ordinance or the provisions adoated herein by reference are
hereby re~ealed~ except that this re~eal shall not affect or prevent
the prosecution or ounishment of any person for any act done or
committed in violation of any ordinance hereby re~ea!ed vrior to
t.ae taking ~f~ect of this ordinance
Section 6 ?,~'~?~mT'~r~ DAME: That an emergenc,v exists
