ORDINANCE NO. ~
AN ORDINANCE providing for an appropriation of funds for
which an insufficient appropriation was made in the 1966
budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BBEMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
5e~c.t.ion l_._ There is hereby appropriated to the Arterial Street
Fund the sum of $22,500.00 from the ¥¢ashington State Arterial Gas Tax fund.
That this appropriation is necessary to complete the drainage, widening,
surfacing, and curbs and gutters on i,' :~ Eleventh Street from Chester to
Callow as a single project, and that the total cost thereof could not be
determined at the time the 1966 budget was adopted.
Section 2. That an e~mergency exists and is hereby declared to
exist and the foregoing aI¥~ropriation is made for the present preservation of
the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Oitizens of Bremerton
and is necessary for the immediate completion of the Eleventh Street pro-
ject and this ordinance shall be in effect Lmmediately following passage
and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this day of November, 1966.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton~
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
