AN ORDINANCE providing for s~u appropriation of funds for
which an insufficient appropriation was made in the 1966
budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~EHTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section .1.. There is hereby appropriated to the City Street Fund,
Capital Outlay - Matching, Arterial Street Fund - the sum of $13,133.68.
That this appropriation is necessary to provide city matching funds as
provided by law for the completion of the drafmage, widening, surfacing,
and curbs and gutters on ~leventh Street from Chester to Callow as a single
project, and that the total cost thereof could not be determined at the
time the 1966 budget was ado?ted.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared to
exist and the foregoing appropriation is made for the present preservation
of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Citizens of Bremerton
and is necessary for the immediate comi:~letion of the Eleventh Street pro-
ject and this ordinance shall be in effect immediately following oassage
and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this ?'~. day of November~ 1966.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the ~,~yor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this ~!~ ~ day of November, 1966.
