AN ORDINANCE establishing a fund to be known as the
"Wheaton 'Way Construction Fund"; providing for approp-
riations of money from said fund and the ~urposes for
which said fund may be expended.
TtIE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The State Highway Department of the State of
Washington has allocated the sum of Thirty One Thousand Five tiundred
Ninety-Four and 75/100 Dollars (~31,594.75) for reconstruction and
improvement of Wheaton Way from Sheridan Road to Sylvan Way by the
construction of storm sewers, roadway excavation, concrete curbs and
gutters and asphalt and concrete ~avement, and the City of Bremerton
has entered into an agreement with said State Agency so to do.
Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to establish a fund to be known as the "Wheaton Way Construction
Fund" from which to pay costs incurred for construction of storm sewers,
roadway excavation, concrete curbs and gutters and asphalt and concrete
pavement for the project mentioned in Section 1 herein.
Section 3. There is hereby appropriated from funds received and
to be received from the State Highway Department for the improvement of
Wheaton Way described in Section 1 herein, the s~ of Thirty One
Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Four and 75/100 Dollars ($31,594.75), and
the City ~r~asurer is hereby authorized and directed to place in the
said '~heaton Way Construction Fund" any and all monies received from
the State Highway Department and any other funds which may be received
by the City of Bremerton from other sources for the specific purposes
mentioned herein, and the City Treasurer is further hereby authorized
to honor warrants drawn upon said fund.
