AN ORDINANCE accepting, annexing and incorp-
orating into the corporate limits of the City
of Bremerton certain land lying outside the
limits and contiguous thereto, rescinding
Ordinance ~To. 2~93, and declaring an emergenc~,~.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Whereas a Petition signed by the owners oF more
than Seventy-Five oercent (7~%) of the property hereinafter described
in value according to the assessed valuation for taxation of sai~ prop.-
erty was duly filed with the City Council of the City oe Br~m..~rton the
Council has entertained the same and has caused notice of the hearing
thereof to be published and posted as required by !aw~ that a Revue
Board was duly disoensed~, with under authority~, of P.C~ .W. _~.13.17~ as
not being necessary; a public hearing ~as duly held upon the date of
notice thereof~ to-wit~ the ~th day of August,~ 19~6~,~, and following
said public hearing and considering all matters the City Council has
determined to annex said described prooerty.
Section 2. That the following described tract of land be, and
it hereby is by this ordinance annexed to and incorporated within the
corporate limits of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northeasterly margin
of Primary State Highway No. 21 (SR3) and the ~_,ast~rly margin
of Ford Avenue~ thence Northwesterly along the l~ortherly
margin of PSH ~o. 21 (SR3) to the Westerly margin of Corbet
Drive~ thence Northwesterly and NOrtherly on said Westerly
margin of Corbet Drive to an intersection with Westerly
extension of the Southerly margin of 13th Street, said point
being the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton; thence
along the existing city limit line as follows: thence East-
erly on said extension and on the Southerly margin of 13th
Street, 140 feet; the~ce Southerly 146.42 feet, more or less~,
thence Easterly 372.39 feet; thence Northerly 60 feet' thence
Easterly 170 feet to the Easterly margin of Ford Avenue;
thence Southerly on said Easterly margin to the ~-~ortheasterly
margin of PSH ~Yo. 21 (SR3) and the ooint of beginning.
Section 3. That the Comprehensive Plan of the City of
Bremerton - Resolution 1204 - for the above described property is
hereby adopted and made applicable thereto.
Section 4. That Ordinance No. 2693 be and it hereby is
rescinded.

ordinance shall be in full force and effect following passage and
publication.
