THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Whereas a Petition signed by the owners of more than Seventy-Five percent (75%) of the property hereinafter described in value according to the assessed valuation for taxation of said property was duly filed with the City Council of the City of Bremerton. T~e Council has entertained the same and has caused notice of the hearing of the petition to be published and ~osted as required by law, a Revue Board was duly appointed, met and made and delivered its findings and determination as to said proposed annexation as required by law and a public hearing was duly held upon the date of notice thereof, to-wit, the~Yth day of August, 1966 and following said ~ublic hearing and con- sidering all matters the City Council has determined to annex said described property. Section 2. That the following described tract of land be, and it hereby is by this ordinance annexed to and incorporated within the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton, to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of the Northeasterl.v margin of Primary State Highway No. 21 (SR3) and the Easterly margin of Ford Avenue; thence Northwesterly along the Northerly margin of PSH No. 21 (SR3) to the Westerly margin of Corbet Drive; thence Northwesterly and Northerly on said Westerly margin of Corbet Drive to an intersection with Westerly extension of the Southerly margin of 13th Street, said point being the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton; thence along the existing city limit line as follows: thence East- erly on said extension and on the Southerly margin of 13th Street, 140 feet; thence Southerly 146.42 feet, more or less~ thence Easterly 372.39 feet; thence Northerly 60 feet~ thence Easterly 170 feet to the Easterly margin of Ford Avenue; thence Southerly on said Easterly margin to the Northeasterly margin of PSH No. 21 (SR3) and the point of beginning. Section 3. That in conformity with the Bremerton Comprehensive Plan the following described property included within the property described in Section 2 above be, and it is annexed zoned as Business- Three (B-3): A portion of Tracts 13 and 14 Phinney two and one-half acre tracts as per olat recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, Page 1, records of Kitsap County, Washington, described as follows: (1) Beginning at the intersection of the Northeasterly margin of Primary State Highway No. 21 (SR3) and the Easterly margin of Ford Avenue; thence Northwesterly along the Northerly margin of PSH No. 21 (SR3) to the Westerly margin of Corbet Drive; thence Northwesterly and Northerly on said Westerly margin of Corbet Drive to an intersection with Westerly extension of the Southerly margin of 13th Street, said point being the Corporate Limits of the City of Bremerton; thence along the existing City Limit line as follows: thence Easterly on said extension and on the Southerly margin of 13th Street, 140 feet~ thence Southerly 146.42 fee~, more or less~ thence Easterly 372.39 feet; thence Mortherly 60 feet; thence Easterly 170 feet to the Easterly margin of Ford Avenue; thence Southerly on said Easterly margin to the Northeasterly margin of PSH No. 21 (SR3) and said point of beginning. Section 4. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect following passage and publication.
