of an easemen~ in and through certain real ~ro~-
erty for placement of a sanitary sewer line and
maintenance of the same, directing condemnation
of property for such easement and the payment of
just compensation therefore, and declaring an
emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That for the nublic health, safety and ~;elfare
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton said city has entered ~nto
a program to ex~nd its sanitary sewer system and has caused to be
preuared general and s~ecific ~lans therefore.
Section 2. To accomplish the said extension it is necessary
to secure a temporary easement for the elacement and a ~ermanent
easement for the continuance and maintenance of sanitary sewer ni~e-
line in, through and under the following described real propert}.~,
to-wit:
A strip of land ~d2 feet in width centered unon a
line within the Worth one-half of the South one-half
of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast one-quarter,
less the West 660 feet thereof, of Section 2, Town-
ship 24 North, Range 1 East, ~.M., ~itsaD Count,:,
l~[ashington, described as Follows:
Commencing at a point where the l{itsae County Clares
Marsh Drainage centerline bisects the South Boundarl.,~
Survey line of the above described vrouerty, thence
in a straight line across said proDerty to a ~oint
where the Kitsap County Clares Marsh Drainage center-
line bisects the North Boundary Survey line of the
said above described property.
Section ~. The Cit.}, Attorney is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to eroceed immediately with the condemnation for the above des-
cribed easement in the SuDerior Court of the State of Washington for
Kitsa~ County.
Section 4. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation
of the ~ublic peace, health and safety of the citizens of the City
