AN ORDINANCE appropriating from the General
Fund funds not provided for in the 1967
budget, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund the sum of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00) to
the Traffic Maintenance Control fund (Capital Outlay Budget)
of the City of Bremerton for the budget year 1967.
Section 2. That during the year 1967 it became neces-
sary for the City to purchase steel poles for traffic lights and
for control cables, conduits, and concrete~ and for the replacement
of concrete disturbed in the placement of the poles. These improve-
ments will necessitate additional expenses which had not been prev-
iously anticipated or budgeted for but which are required for the
public's health and safety.
Section 3. There exists, and is hereby declared to
exist, an emergency~ and this ordinance is necessary for the immed-
iate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of Bremerton, and shall be in full force and effect immedi-
ately upon passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this /~ day of October, 1967.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
