HomeMy WebLinkAbout2756 ORDINANCE NO. ~F~ AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating into the corporate limits of the City of Br~merton certain land lying outside the limits of the City of Bremerton and being contiguous to the City of Bremerton. THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. Whereas, a petition signed by the owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the property hereinafter described, in value according to the assessed valuation for taxation of said property, has been filed with the City Council of the City of Bremerton and the Council has directed that notice of the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a public hearing was held on the 20th day of Sept.~,. 1967, and following such public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said described property. Section 2. That the following described tract of land is hereby and by this Ordinance adopted and incorporated within and becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit: Beginning at the SE corner of Section 17, T24N, R1E, W. M.; thence north along the east section line of said Section 17 to the centerline of Price Road; thence westerly along said centerline of Price Road to the intersection of the centerline of County Road No. 250; thence southwesterly along said centerline of County Road No. 250 to a point which is 497 feet north of the south line of said Section 17, thence west parallel to and 497 feet north of said south line of Section 17, to north south center section of line of said Section 17; thence south along said center section line to the south line of said Section 17; thence south along center line of Section 20, T24N, R1E, W.M.; to the south margin of County Road No. 250; thence eagt long said south margin of County Road No. 250 to the center line of private road as now established; thence southwesterly along said center line to the south line of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 20; thence east along said south line to the north south center section line of said Section 20; thence south along said north south center section line to the north line of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section 20; thence west along said north line to the west line of said SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4; thence south along said west line to the south section line of said Section 20; thence east along said south line to the east section line of said Section 20; thence north along said east section line to the south line of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 20; thence west along said south li~e of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 to a point 330 feet west of the east line of said Section 20; thence north parallel Page -1- to and 330 feet west of said east line of said Sectiom 20 to a point 411 feet south of the south line of Section 17, T24N, R1E, W.M.; thence northeasterly in a straight line 452 feet to a point on the south line of said Section 17; thence east along the south line thereof 142 feet to the point of beginning. Section 3. The effective date shall be November 8, 1967. APPROVED on first reading this 20th day of September, 1967.
